China The People's Republic of China / is the most populated country in the world with more than 1.338 billion people. It is located in East Asia and is ruled by the Communist Party of China under the one-party system. China is made up of more than 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four municipalities directly administered (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, and two from the autonomous regions - Hong Kong and Macao. The country's capital is Beijing.
