the weather
Weather or atmosphere is all the phenomena related to the atmosphere of a planet. The term is usually used to monitor the movement of these phenomena for a short period, while the term climate is used to refer to phenomena that extend over longer periods.
What we call the atmosphere is all the physical conditions of the lower layers of the atmosphere at a given time and at a given point. Weather conditions are usually related to when we can feel direct effects on cloud cover or solar radiation, temperature, wind, precipitation and visibility.
The study and prediction of weather conditions is called meteorology. Humans have used the ability to predict rain and floods based on annual cycles since agriculture began. Early approaches to weather forecasting were based on astrology and were practiced by druids. Cuneiform inscriptions on Babylonian tablets included associations between thunder and rain. The Chaldeans distinguished the halos from the moon's ring and the 46° halo.
The ancient Indian Upanishads contain mention of clouds and seasons. The Samaveda mentions sacrifices to be performed when certain phenomena are observed. Brihat Samhita wrote on the subject around 500 AD in the Vrahamira, providing evidence of weather observation. 350 BC, Aristotle wrote a book called Meteorology, meaning the study of the atmosphere. Aristotle is considered the founder of meteorology. One of the most impressive achievements described in meteorology was the description of what is now known as the hydrological cycle.
