Tiger

                                     Tiger

The tiger / is one of the species of cats and the smallest of the four great cats belonging to the genus tigers. Where the tiger, lion and jaguar are larger than him. Today, tigers are spread almost mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, and some areas in southern and eastern Asia, where there are fragmented populations of them in Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, and southern Arabia, after their habitat previously included all countries extending from The Korean Peninsula to South Africa, that is, the regions of East, South, Central Asia, the Middle East, Turkey, and     all parts of Africa                    .

The reason for the rapid decline in tiger numbers is due to hunting and loss of habitat as a result of frequent urbanization in its often densely populated habitats. The tiger is classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature as close to the risk of extinction due to the aforementioned risks, but despite this it is still more numerous than the rest of the types of cats belonging to the genus of the tiger, which all face greater risks than those faced by tigers                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  The tiger has relatively short legs, in addition to a long body and a huge skull, and it is very similar to the jaguar in terms of external shape, but it is smaller in size and less full. The tiger's fur is spotted with pink spots that miss the central point in the center that appears in the jaguars, and some tigers are born carrying a gene that causes them a dark color, and these tigers are either completely black or very dark, but their spots can still be seen when they stand in the sunlight. Both tigers and jaguars share this gene, and these dark animals are known as black tigers                                                                                                                                                                                          The success of this species and its distribution in various parts of the ancient world has been attributed to its opportunistic hunting habits, its ability to adapt to different types of climates and habitats, and its ability to travel at a distance of 58 kilometers (36 miles) per hour. Tigers will eat any animal they can catch, with prey ranging in size from beetles to zebras. The preferred habitats of these animals range from rain forests to desert areas. The tiger plays an ecological role similar to that played by cougars in the Americas
