             Port Fouad is an Egyptian city located in the Port Said Governorate, representing the Asian side of this Afro-Asian governorate. It is located on the Mediterranean coast in the northwestern corner of the Sinai Peninsula. It is bordered to the east by North Sinai Governorate and to the south by Ismailia                                                                                                                               


     Port Fouad was established in 1920, and was initially inhabited by 800 foreigners working in the Suez Canal Company's workshops. Designed in the French style, it was inaugurated on December 21, 1926, and named after King Fouad I. Port Fouad was the seventh district of Port Said until it was declared a city by Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif's Decree No. 651 of 2010 in March 2010. Port Fouad Club is considered the oldest club in Egypt, having been established in 1902, before the inauguration of the city itself in 1926, and also before the establishment of Al-Masry Club, the most famous and popular club in Port Said Governorate, which was established in 1920
