Black tourism

                               Black tourism

Tourism in the minds of people is to visit the beaches, gardens or even museums and archaeological sites, but recently it has been observed that some people, scientists and researchers are heading to visit cities and places where disasters or genocide occurred and I will show you some of them.

1- Madain Saleh:
Madain Saleh is an archaeological site located in Saudi Arabia in the northwestern part of it in an area called Al-Ula, a province of the Medina. It was mentioned in the Koran, they understood who responded to the call of the Prophet Saleh and then disgraced camels sent by God took them shout.

2- Pompeii City:
When the Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, near Naples, was buried under meters of volcanic ash.
The hot ash preserved most of the city and froze the moment when its inhabitants, who were buried under the ashes, lived with their animals, their food, and the decorations of their walls.
This city offers a rare picture of the nature of everyday life in the ancient Roman Empire and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site to be preserved.
Today, it is a popular tourist destination, with 2.5 million visitors a year.

And other places that have experienced natural or man-made disasters.
Like visiting the Chernobyl Bakurania reactor. Houses and palaces where horror or murder stories have been seen inside them and abandoned places.
