Japan / a country in East Asia, located between the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan, and the eastern Korean Peninsula. The Chinese called the country a bright land - the source - the sun, and this is because it is located in the far east of the inhabited world at the time.
Japan consists of several islands, four of these islands are the most important and largest of all, and they are respectively: Kyushu, Shikoku, Honshu, Hokkaido.
Japan is one of the world's giants of industry, with Japanese industrial production surpassing only that of the United States. The Japanese made a variety of products, including cars, computers, iron, steel, plastics, radio and TV sets. Japan has become a major economic power despite its limited natural resources, as it imports many raw materials needed by industries, and Japan is one of the main trading countries.
Japan is dominated by a wet seasonal weather. In the summer, southeastern winds come from the Pacific Ocean, and in the winter winds come from Eurasia in the northwest.
The four seasons of Japan, summer, winter, autumn, and spring are clearly marked, and one of the most beautiful scenes is a scene of cherry blossoms, which are called sakura in the spring, and the bright colors that appear on the leaves in the autumn season, such as yellow, red and orange.
The regions located in the far south and the far north of them are distinguished by a wide variation in the nature of their climate, which increases the movement of domestic tourism there.

In the 1980s, European countries aspired to learn from Japan to improve their economies.
Despite the economic success, Japan suffers from some problems, including: a large housing shortage, and pollution of the urban environment. Western allies are also pressuring Japan to increase its military spending and play a greater role in security arrangements in the region.
Japan's economic boom is based on the export of manufactured goods in exchange for the import of raw materials.
Since the early eighties of the twentieth century, Japan's partners have criticized its trade policy for harming their economies. To improve its trade relations with them, Japan agreed in 1981 to limit its auto exports to Canada, the United States and Germany, and to reduce some of its import restrictions.
In September 1992, Japan sent units of its forces to join the United Nations mission that worked to preserve peace in Cambodia.
Emperor Hirohito died in January 1989 and has been in power since 1926 AD, and his son Emperor Akihito succeeded him as the new Emperor of Japan.
Prime Minister Morihiro Hosokawa resigned in April 1994, after being accused of misusing public funds.
