Locusts
Locusts

Locusts, and they alone are locusts, are insects of the straight line. There are over 20,000 species of locusts in the world. The grasshoppers are a kind of grasshoppers that have strong hind legs to help them jump, and the two are called my bugs.
They are plant-eating insects that can jump up to 20 times longer than their body.
The locusts body is covered with a layer of chitin, with a mouth in it with sharp teeth and two distinct short horns for sensing. Locusts make musical sounds by scratching the hind legs or front wings with the body. A female locust is dug to lay eggs by a sword laying machine under the ground, covering it with a liquid to protect it from the cold, to hatch from a creature in transition phase for about a month, after which this creature will enter maturity.
Locusts have natural enemies in nature represented by birds, mice, snakes, beetles and spiders. Locusts are considered a favorite food by many people in Asia and some Arab countries. The locust insect is rich in protein, which represents 62% and fat 17%, and inorganic elements that represent the rest such as: magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, sodium, iron, phosphorous, and others.
The life cycle of locust insects passes through three basic stages, which are the egg, nymph, and the complete insect. The time period for each stage varies according to the prevailing weather conditions. The growth is complete from the sexual point of view, and if the growth is completed quickly, the total length of life becomes short.
Locusts eat about 100 thousand tons of green plants per day, which is enough to feed half a million people for a year (locusts eat 1.5-4 grams - and a square kilometer contains at least 50 million locusts).
Insects feed on leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds, plant peels and buds. In general, it is difficult to estimate the damage caused by locusts due to the high nature of the attack. Appropriate control methods can be identified.
Locusts that change Egypt and neighboring countries in the Middle East and North Africa breed in three regions: the first: eastern Sudan, Eritrea, and Abyssinia, and the second: western Sudan, North Africa, some parts of the Libyan desert, and the third: some of the valleys of Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
Reproduction of locusts that migrate to Egypt begins in its breeding sites, which are eastern Sudan, Eritrea and Abyssinia during the rainy season in July and August, and it usually migrates in the fall and early winter to the Red Sea coast close to its breeding places, and there mating and reproduction, then its lineage returns to its original places.
Or the Red Sea swarms consist of them in the spring to Yemen, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran, and in some years instead of deserting locusts from their breeding places to the Red Sea coast, they fly north to the countries of the Middle East and Egypt, where they multiply and then their lineage returns to the south after that. These swarms come from the breeding places Either you are adult or about to reach puberty.
During reproduction, locusts mate, and fertilization takes place inside the female reproductive system. The female then lays eggs that hatch after a few days, and larvae emerge from him. The caterpillar grows in size and length and gradually becomes adult with the appearance of wings and butters. However, growth in length occurs only during the dissection period due to the presence of a solid shield that covers the body of the larva and prevents its growth in length.
Several locusts occur in locusts, each separating period separates two stages during which locusts increase in mass and growth stops at length. Thus, locusts grow in several discontinuities continuously. This type of growth is called discontinuous growth
