Dhul Kifl
Dhul Kifl
God Almighty said after the story of Job in Surat Al-Anbiya: {And Ismail and Idris, and the guarantor are all of the Sabreen * and we put them in their mercy from us].
He says after the story of Job also in Surat r: {And remember Our Servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, hands and eyes * Verily Okhalsnahm Boukhalsh the memory of the house * and they we have those who lined up the good guys * And remember Ishmael and Elisha and of Kifl and all of the good guys} [r: 45-48].
It is said that Dhu al-Kifl is Ibn Ayoub, peace be upon him, and his original name is human, and God sent him after the Prophet Ayoub and called him Dhu al-Kifl, because he undertook some obedience, but some scholars disagreed among themselves about his prophethood, and they said, but rather just a good man from the children of Israel, but a son Many favored his prophecy because God Almighty mentioned it with the prophets as stated in the preceding verse.
We must draw attention to an important matter here, which is that the guarantor is not the same guarantor mentioned in the hadith of the Prophet, who was mentioned that he was also among the children of Israel, but that he is not distracted from the one with the sponsor that we are talking about, as he was not afraid of the guilt of his actions. It was known that he was engaged in outrage and adultery, and he died while disobeying God. The names are similar, but the difference between them is like the difference between heaven and earth.
Satan wanted to make Zul-Kifl wrong, and he made Satan say to the demons: “You are the one who bruised the sponsor, and they made him fall into error.” But they failed to do that, and he said, “Call me and him”. He did not sleep at night while worshiping God, and he used to spend in the people until the time of noon, and then the time for naps returns to the house until he sleeps, then he returns to spend among the people at night, and so was his life.
So Satan wanted to provoke the anger of Dhu al-Kifl, and in doing so he would make it wrong, so he knocked on his door in the hour of nap, which represents the hour of rest for the kafil. Dhu al-Kifl opened the door, and the sheikh started to talk to him about a rivalry between him and his people, and how they wronged him, and he continued to delay the conversation until the time for the Dhu al-Kifl Council came among the people, and the nafs of the sponsor missed and did not sleep.
Zulkifel said to him: "When I go to the Judicial Council, come to me and I will take your investigation for you." The Sheikh went out and Dhu al-Kifl went out to his council without sleeping, but the Sheikh did not attend the council, and the council adjourned without attending, and the council was convened the next day, but the Sheikh did not attend as well, and when Dhu al-Kafil returned to his house at the time of siesta, the Sheikh came to him and the door came,
Zul-Kifl said: “Who is this?” Satan said: “The great and oppressed sheikh.” So he opened for him and said: “Did I not tell you if I sat in the Judicial Council, then come to me?”, And the devil said: “They are the most pernicious people, if they know that you are sitting in your council, they told me We give you your right, and if you arise from your assembly, they deny me. ”Zulkifl said:“ So go ahead this hour. If I go to the Judicial Council, then come to me. ”
Once again, the nap with the guarantor came, and he went to his council and waited for the sheikh, but he did not see him, and he fell asleep on him, and he said to some of his family: "Do not let someone bring this door closer to sleep, for I have slowed the sleepy on me." From entering, Satan said: "I came yesterday, so I mentioned to him my command, and I want him for the hour."
When he saw that man’s stubbornness and determination, he looked at the house, and saw a hole in the house and entered from it. If he was in the house, and if he was knocking on the door from the inside, he awoke with the sponsor and said to the man standing outside: “O man, did I not command you to enter anyone?” He said: "By God, we have not let anyone approach, so look where he entered." Then Zul-Kifl went to the door, and if it was closed as it closed it,
Dhu al-Kafil toured his eyesight at home, so there was no way for the Sheikh to enter the house, so he knew that this Sheikh was only Satan, so he said: “You are nothing but the enemy of God, Satan.” So Satan said: “Yes,” he said Dhul-Kifl: “And why did you do all this?” Satan said: “The demons have brought you down over you, because you could fall into error, and you could not, so I wanted to raise your anger and let your patience run out, and you will fall in error.”
Thus, Satan could not change any of the attributes of Zul-Kifl who remained patient and patient and did not get angry, so God called Zul-Kifl because he took care of something and fulfilled it. Dhu al-Kifl is said to have died at the age of seventy-five years of age, and his grave is said to be located in the village of Kifl Haris in the city of Nablus in Palestine.
