Noah was mentioned in many Quranic verses in Surat Al-Imran, Surat al-Nisaa, Surah al-Ma’idah, Surat al-An'aam, Surat Hood, and Surah al-Ankabut, as well as Surah Noah called by his name and others. According to the Islamic religion, God sent Noah to a people who worship idols, to invite them to worship him alone and leave worship of others, but Noah did not listen and the majority continued to worship idols and erected enmity for him and those who believed in him and promised them by stoning.

It was revealed to Noah that the sign of the beginning of the flood was the coming of God’s command to the enlightenment, and the enlightenment was said to be the occurrence of a volcano in the region, and in another interpretation, Noah’s enlightenment is the enlightenment that he inherited from Eve, or the effervescence of water on the surface of the earth, and it was said that the light of dawn came and was said otherwise ... And when the sign was fulfilled, Noah commanded that there be a married couple, his family, and those who believed in him on the ship from the earth.

Noah's wife did not believe in him, nor did he ascend, and one of his sons concealed his disobedience and showed faith before Noah, so he did not ascend. Likewise, the majority of those who did not believe in him did not ride with him. And the believers ascended. Ibn Abbas said: "Noah believed eighty people."

So he started loading about eighty men with their women in the ship, and the earth exploded with eyes and the sky fell and the water rose, carrying the ship as it ran through them in a wave like mountains a hundred and fifty days. The rest perished, and God did not remain on Earth from the disbelievers. Noah sent the dove, so she slipped her feet in the mud and carried an olive branch to him. When he saw this, he learned that the water had receded, and this is what Ibn Abbas mentioned.

Muslims are unanimous in the fact that the flood spread throughout all the countries. And narrations in Islam have two sayings:
