Romania is an Eastern European country, and its name means the country of the Romans. It was once part of the Roman Empire. The Romans are the only people in Eastern Europe who trace their language and origins back to the Romans. The capital of this country and its largest city is Bucharest

Romania is located in the southwest of Moldova and Ukraine, it is part of the northern Balkan Peninsula. And the mountains spread in Romania give beauty to its scenery; It also attracts people to spend enjoyable periods of recreation during which they practice snowboarding, and take short, entertaining trips. And there are dozens of sandy beaches on the warm coast of Romania, which is located on the Black Sea, and large numbers of animals that find complete protection

The Danube River forms a large part of Romania's southern borders with Serbia and Bulgaria. The Danube meets the Prut, which in turn forms the natural border with Moldavia in the northeast. Danube flows into the Black Sea, forming the Danube Delta

The area of Romania is constantly increasing, due to the natural entry of the Danube Delta by 2 to 5 meters annually into the Black Sea. For example, the area of the country in 1969 was 237,500 square kilometers, and today it is 238,319 square kilometers. The geographical nature of Romania is varied. About 34% of the country is mountains, 33% is plateaus, and 33% is plains. Carpathian Mountains are stationed in the center of the country, surrounded by a layer Turansylvanah. There are 14 mountain peaks exceeding 2,000 meters above sea level

The climate of Romania is hot and sunny in summer, and cold and cloudy in winter. The average temperature in July is 21 ° C, and the average temperature in January is 1 ° C below zero, and the plains of Romania are warmer than the mountainous regions

The percentage of agricultural land suitable for agricultural production in Romania is 60%. There are some rich pastures in the country. In addition to 25% of the land area is covered with forests to provide wood. Romania produces some minerals, including natural gas, oil, coal, copper, gold, iron ore, lead, silver and zinc

The Romanian Communist government took an interest in industrialization in the country, and was particularly concerned with the production of basic commodities, and this included the raw materials needed by industry, but consumer goods did not receive the same attention; As interest in it came after the main industry. The most important commodities produced were: food, clothes and shoes, as well as machinery used in agriculture, factories and mining. The products also include building materials, wood products, oil, iron and steel. And Bucharest is the most important industrial region

Crops account for three-fifths of the value of Romanian agricultural products. The government supplied the farms with modern equipment. Agricultural products include: grapes, potatoes, sugar beets, poultry and livestock on collective farms. Farmers work for a wage and the government determines the farm products, but the new government has abandoned this policy and seeks to transfer them to private farms. Collective farms were also left to operate in the old traditional ways

Romania's economy before the 1960s was dependent on agriculture. But after that date, the government began building a number of new factories and power stations, until industrial products outnumbered agricultural products, and the number of workers in the industrial sector increased than those working in the agricultural field. It was the Communist government that decided the quantity of production of each commodity, as well as the price at which it was sold, and the amount of revenue to be collected from each commodity. But after the 1989 AD revolution against communism, the state began to launch the freedom to work in trade

People in Romania celebrate on many occasions, wearing brightly colored clothes, dancing to the tones of folklore music and the melodies of the nomadic Roma groups who used to roam in the thousands in these countries in the past. Romania has rich sources of natural wealth including fertile land, minerals and vast forests. But it could not develop its resources, as the interest was focused on agriculture
