Tourism in Angola depends on the country's natural environment, including rivers, waterfalls and coasts. The tourism industry in Angola is relatively new, as much of the country was destroyed during the post-colonial civil war that ended in 2002. Unlike most countries in the region, which generally grant the United States, the European Union and many other citizens a visa on arrival or not. Absolutely require a visa, Angola has complex and cumbersome Soviet-style visa requirements (official letter of invitation, documents related to the purpose of travel, copy of itinerary, proof of funds, this old procedure towards visitors puts the country at a disadvantage in the international tourism market Competitive

Camia National Park is a magnet for visitors in Angola. It is a national park in the Moxico province of Angola, and is located about 1,100 meters above sea level. It shares its name with the nearby municipality of Kamia. The Kamia-Luakano Road forms the northern boundary of the park, where the Chifumag River forms the southern part of the eastern boundary and the Lomeg and Luena rivers on the southwestern border. Much of the park consists of seasonally flooded plains that form part of the Zambezi River Basin, with the northern half of the park draining into the Chifomag River

Extensive mumbo forests are also found, similar to those in the Zambezi Basin in western Zambia. The park is a sample of nature not occurring anywhere else in Angola. Two lakes, Lake Camia and Lake Delolo (the largest lake in Angola) are located outside the park boundaries, both of which contain extensive reed beds and grassy swamps rich in waterfowl

Angola's economy is agriculture. The most important crops are corn, cassava, sugar cane, oil palm, and sisal, agriculture represents 42% of income, and oil, diamonds, gold and copper are extracted from Angola, and it has livestock from cows, sheep and goats. Despite these resources, incomes are very low due to the current growth in the economy. Angola is due to the increase in oil prices and the increase in its production. Oil and related activities represent about 50% of the national production and 90% of the exports, and the increase in oil production caused an increase in the national product and a growth rate of 2% in 2004 and 19% growth in 2005

The post-civil war restoration and rehabilitation of the people involved also caused an increase in the rates of construction and agriculture. Most of the country's facilities and infrastructure were destroyed by the long civil war that lasted nearly 27 years. Currently, stability and peace have been restored in the country after the death of the leader of the UNITA opposition movement, Jonas Savimbi, in February 2002. Agriculture is the main livelihood for about half of the population, but half of the country's food is imported. During 2005, the government began using a loan from China of one billion (2) dollars to restore infrastructure and facilities. The percentage of the population below the poverty line is about 70%. And unemployment constitutes about 50% of the labor force
